You are automatically registered at the University Library within 48 hours of your academic enrolment at the University of Angers. Your Pass Sup’ student card is your library card.
At the university libraries (BU), you can…
Borrow:
- books, magazines, DVDs, Comic books (as many as you want for 6 weeks) – reservations possible
- equipment for working or personal activities on-site or to take home, at the reception of each BU
Access on-site or online:
- all online documentation to which the BU subscribes
- newspapers and other current affairs publications
- 25,000 scientific journals
- specialised databases in law, health, science and literature

Saint-Serge library
Open 7 days a week, more than 91 hours per week:
Monday to Saturday from 8:30 am to 10:30 pm.
Sundays from 1 pm to 8 pm.
The Saint-Serge library offers 800 study seats, with lighting and electrical outlets on the tables. Booking in advance is required.
Belle-Beille library
The Belle-Beille university library is undergoing renovations.
The temporary library on the Belle-Beille campus is open 6 days a week:
Monday to Thursday: 8:30 am to 7:30 pm.
Friday to Saturday: 8:30 am to 6 pm
The temporary library offers 90 study seats with electrical outlets (booking required), and a pick-up point for books and publications requested online.
The l’Escale cafeteria (130 seats) will also be open as a study hall with the presence of a librarian. Students also have the possibility of borrowing equipment.
Monday to Friday: 2 pm to 6 pm
Cholet library
Monday to Friday: 8:30 am to 7 pm
Saturday: 8:30 am to 12:30 noon
Open during university vacations: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
Saumur
