Whatever your situation, whether or not your disability is visible or officially recognised, you can receive flexible and tailored support from UA services to ensure your studies run as smoothly as possible.
If you need support, advice or information, you can contact the following services:
The Disability Support Centre
The Disability Support Centre provides information and support to students with disabilities or long-term medical conditions throughout their studies at UA. This centre is located on the Belle-Beille campus. Its goal is to:
- inform and support students with disabilities throughout their academic journey,
- implement, coordinate and monitor course and examination arrangements with the various university departments
- act against discrimination, promote equal opportunities and encourage inclusion.
The support staff
They are available on most campuses and provide guidance and support to students with specific needs.
Do you need special study or exam arrangements?
Specific measures can be taken to ensure that your course runs smoothly:
- help with note-taking,
- assistance with getting around campus,
- adjustments to the duration of your studies
- adjustments to examination conditions (extra time, examination secretary, specially adapted materials, etc.),
- loan of computers and special software.
The arrangements must be prescribed by the university medical centre (SSU).
