Boîte à partage
The Boite à Partage (Sharing box) is a system in which the university collects items (student essentials) left behind by students and redistributes them to new incoming students. It is free and open to all students as well as international students.
Which items can I get?
- Kitchen tools: plates, cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc. (clean of course!)
- Hygiene and cleaning products (unopened!)

Distribution takes place at the Volta student hall of residence at the address:

Distribution dates for the Fall semester 2024:
- Tuesday 27 august (5pm-6pm)
- From monday 2 september to friday 6 september (5pm-6pm)
- Tuesday 10 september (5pm-6pm)
- Tuesday 17 september (5pm-6pm)
- Tuesday 24 september (5pm-6pm)
Remember to bring proof of enrollment (student card, certificate of attendance, etc.) and a bag!
Second-hand shopping
Another great way to save money on a student budget is to buy second-hand.
Angers has a lot of second-hand and solidary recycling shops for clothing and all kinds of items. We have listed a few solidary second-hand shops below, but you can also find thrift stores in Angers city centre.
